Dr Małgorzata Buczek-Kowalik

Education:
I completed my doctoral studies at UMCS in Lublin receiving a doctoral degree in Geography. Besides it, I graduated from bachelor studies in Slavic Studies at UMCS (Bulgarian-Russian-Ukrainian Studies profile).

Experience:
Since 2010 I have been working at University of Rzeszów. I am an academic teacher at Physical Education studies. Since January 2019 I have been Geography teacher in High School with Billingual Classes in Boguchwała.

Qualifications I have obtained include: guide, tour-leader of local and foreign country trips, Moreover, I have completed courses concerning work with the youth with special educational needs (autism, Asperger’s syndrome).

While working at University of Rzeszów I took part in several teacher courses. Due to the Erasmus+ programme, I did internships in Portugal (Coimbra), Spain (Huelva), Bulgaria (Dobrich).

I am the author of publications concerning tourism and study of local lore. The results of my research are presented on local and foreign conferences. Furthermore, I take an active part in activities concerning increasing the tourism attractiveness of a region. I am an expert and coordinator of projects co-financed by EU funds.

Hobbies
I have the pleasure of combining my passion with work. I love hiking as well as getting to know different parts of Poland and Europe. I try to inspire my children and students with my passion.
